A 4-year-old girl was found dead on Boston island this week and even after composting a sketch of the toddler’s face that has been seen 47 million times on Facebook, police STILL can’t identify her.
The little girl was found on Thursday June, 25th and police still have little information to go on.
A woman walking her dog by the Massachusetts’ Deer Island shoreline was the one who spotted the plastic trash bag that contained the little girl’s remains. There appears to be no trauma to her body and the case has not been ruled a homicide.
So, with all this media attention why has no one come forward?
State Police spokesman David Procopio said, “I think the fact that no one has come forward is suggestive that the family or caretaker or her circle of family or friends are intentionally not providing information—for whatever reason that may be…Some people have suggested that the family could be undocumented immigrants, or that the family is somewhat complicit”
This is so heartbreaking and we hope that this horrible mystery is solved soon.
